EXCEL Water Softening and Purification was established in July of 2002 to provide residential and commercial water softeners/conditioners and Reverse Osmosis water purifiers to homes and businesses in the north suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. In April of 2004 the company merged with one of its major water treatment competitors, North Valley Rayne Water Conditioning to create EXCEL Water LLC… an authorized Rayne dealership.
The Chairman of EXCEL Water, LLC is Tom Derryberry: Mr. Derryberry grew up working in a family owned water conditioning dealership in the mid-west. After college and five years in the USMC, he served for twenty eight years in the Culligan Water Conditioning organization. Much of this time he worked for the Culligan International Corporation, Northbrook, IL. Over the years he held a variety of technical service, training, sales and management positions with state, regional and national responsibilities. After leaving Culligan International Company, Mr. Derryberry worked several years for EcoWater and Rayne Corporation… both major manufacturers of residential, commercial and industrial water treatment equipment. In 2002 he was the founder of North Valley Rayne Water Conditioning.
President and CEO of EXCEL Water LLC is Jeff Derryberry: Jeff is a 15 year veteran in the water treatment industry. He is a third generation “Water Guy” and grew up in a family owned water conditioning business. After college he returned home where he participated in installation and technical service, shop foreman, sales person and dealership manager. Jeff joined EXCEL Water, LLC as Service Manager in 2004 and was named President/CEO in early 2008.
The company now specializes in residential and commercial water softening, reverse osmosis, hot water recycling, water heater replacement and solar water heating in residential, commercial and industrial venues. A small, service disabled woman veteran owned company, EXCEL Water, LLC is CCR registered to provide parts, equipment and services to Federal, State and Local government. Our GSA contract has been in place for over three years. EXCEL Water, LLC is proud to provide products that support our government and U.S. Troops at home and around the world.
Mary Ann and Tom Derryberry are both former US Marines from the Viet Nam era. They were instrumental in founding the Daisy Mountain Veterans’ annual Veterans’ Day Parade and Family Picnic held in Anthem, Arizona. Mary Ann has been Co-Chair of the parade since its inception in 2003. Tom continues to be the “Grill Sergeant,” in charge of the Beer Garden, Food Court and Kids’ Activities at the Family Picnic.
